WebSep 16, 2024 · I had to come off Cymbalta, too. I looked on FB because there is a support group called Cymbalta Hurts Worse. People actually count beads to slowly withdraw. I talked to my doctor and he put me on a "Prozac Bridge" plan. Most on the FB site said that it doesn't work, but it did for me. WebI am wondering how effective Cymbalta is for anxiety (I mean severe anxiety). I am currently weaning off of Effexor (the worst drug to exist) and am currently in a mental crisis. Random panic attacks, missing school due to extreme panic, somatic symptoms which include diarrhea and nausea everytime I have a panic attack, and extreme mood swings.
