Webb23 aug. 2014 · 6 months ago I refilled the ink tanks, did quite a number of prints with no problems except the color is starting to go off the OEM and can't really be corrected with a DataColor SpyderPRINT very well. Today I just printed some test sheets with the 9500 mk2 and the inks starts rubbing off the paper very easily. WebbInk rubbing off: Ink is more likely to rub off on some coated papers. You can avoid it by laminating your piece but it changes the finish completely. I've encountered a particularily bad run of ink rubbing off on business cards before and my printer did a rerun for free with lamination.

If the toner is still powder it is not melting and therefore the heating element (the fuser) is not working correctly. It is plausible that your paper is too thick, insulating or absorbing ...
